Clear Creek Economic Development Corp's
New Pilot Loan Program
Focused on enhancing the appearance of businesses in Clear Creek County, CCEDC's new pilot loan program, Mini Micro Business Loan is now available to Clear Creek County businesses. CCEDC will begin this program with a $15,000 pool of funds initially and will consider renewing the program based on the success of the use of proceeds and repayment of funds.
The program guidelines include:
- Up to a $2,000 lending limit on loans.
- Zero interest rate.
- Terms to be negotiated but not to exceed six months.
- Use of proceeds will be directed to enhance store fronts, signage, or enhance visual appearance that affects clients' initial impressions of business.
- Borrowers must provide evidence of use of proceeds.
- The borrower will sign a promissory note for the loan.
- Loans will be approved on a first come, first served basis.
- Borrowers will be responsible for encouraging other businesses to participate in the Mini Loan Program so that the regional approach will result in a greater visual impact.
- There will be no collateral required but 25% borrower participation.
- Applicants will fill out a short application form. Quick turn around time for approval.
